Lunar Eclipse Day!
Hello, I'm Mrs. Metzger, the second grade teacher at Olpe Elementary. This is my first year back at Olpe.
The second grade students went out every 15 minutes to observe and record the sun using various tools during the eclipse. We used NASA approved glasses, cereal box viewers, and paper viewers. We had lunar eclipse art, snacks, and stories throughout the day. We made memories that hopefully they will remember in 20 years when the next one arrives!
