Mrs. Livers's 10th Grade Class is ending the school year reading the memoir “Night” by Elie Wiesel, a Holocaust survivor. Before starting the unit, students do a writing activity where they write their own short memoirs. Memoirs are short biographical stories written about an important time in one’s life where an important lesson of some kind was learned. In the photo, students are completing pre-writing questions and reading the preface of “Night” for inspiration from the author.
